FAQ

What are the opening hours of the festival?
- The festival will be open on the 12th from 5 PM to 10:30 PM, and on the 13th & 14th from 12 PM to 10 PM.
Are tickets required for entry?
- Yes, tickets are available for purchase.
Ticket prices are
Friday £5
Saturday £15
Sunday £10.
Tickets must be purchased in advance as no tickets will be sold at the gate.
What activities can we expect at the festival?
- Attendees can enjoy hot air balloon shows, live music, funfair, food and craft vendors and more.
When will the balloons fly?
Typically the balloons fly at sunrise and sunset. There are planned balloon launches between 6pm & 7.30pm on Saturday and Sunday. There is also a planned Saturday and Sunday morning ascent between 6am and 7:30am. Friday ballon launch Approx 10pm
Is there disabled access and facilities?
- Yes, the festival is accessible, with plenty of disabled toilets available. However, we cannot guarantee disabled parking. Disabled parking is available; please inform an attendant upon arrival.
Do you offer concessions for carers?
- No, we have kept ticket prices low to make the event accessible to everyone.
Is parking available?
- Yes, parking is available for £5 for the day. We encourage attendees to consider using public transport due to limited space and environmental concerns.
What if the weather is bad?
- All balloon events are subject to weather conditions. Updates will be posted on our Facebook page following the pilot's briefing. The event will proceed, but act timings may change.

Can I bring my own food and drink?
- Yes, picnics are permitted, but please no glass or alcohol. Bag searches will be in operation.
Are dogs allowed?
- Dogs are welcome but must remain on leads. In extremely hot weather, dogs may not be allowed for their safety.
Can I leave and come back?
- Yes, ensure you get a hand stamp from security on your way out for re-entry.
What are the policies on gazebos, BBQs, and security?
- Gazebos, large umbrellas, and portable BBQs are not permitted. Small shade tents for children and portable chairs are allowed. Our security staff will be vigilant, and anyone found with prohibited items or behaving disruptively will be asked to leave without a refund.
IMPORTANT: The safety of our pilots and guests is paramount, and all balloon activity is weather-dependent. Please be prepared for changes due to the unpredictable nature of the weather.
